Guitar shop in "K-ON!", the most famous guitar shop in Japan

JEUGIA, the guitar shop at Sanjo, Kyoto is now getting attention from high school girls in Japan as school trip destination.
Appeared in TV anime "K-ON!" the guitar shop is gathering a lot of fans from all over Japan.

"We're planning anime featuring high school girls' band. We'd like to use the shop interior."

February, 2009 JEUGIA Sanjo store got phone call from anime studio Kyoto Animation.

When the anime started, unusual things happened at the store, such as high school girl buying electric guitar and selling lots of bass guitar for the left handed.

Shop interior is changed occasionally however, some visitors get disappointed because the interior looks different from the anime scenes.
Now it has become the most famous music instrumental shop in Japan, but Kyoto Animations and creators side never admit that the guitar shop in "K-ON!" is based on actual place.
